Bij Theo vindt je een divers aanbod aan dieren en techniek die werd gekozen vanuit Theo’s eigen ervaring om u de beste kwaliteit te kunnen garanderen.
Al sinds zijn jeugdjaren is Theo geboeid door vissen, amfibieën en andere waterbewoners, onder andere dankzij de buren die een aquariumwinkel hadden. In 1984 is Theo gestart met zijn allereerste zeeaquarium. De betere filters kwamen toen net uit, wat de bakjes heel goed uitkwam. Experimenteren was ook absoluut de boodschap, net zoals vandaag. Al kunnen we vandaag toch al steunen op heel wat onderzoeken, ervaringen en veel beter materiaal en producten dan ongeveer 10 jaar geleden. Intussen is zijn "bakje" zelf gegroeid tot een showbak van 2400 liter!
Als fervent liefhebber van de duiksport heeft hij talrijke prachtige duikspots bezocht in onder andere Sulawesie, Balie, Borneo, Nieuw Guinea, Dominicaanse Republiek, Egypte, enz. Een ware droom om de vissen en koralen in hun natuurlijke leefwereld te kunnen bewonderen.
Dank zij Theo’s rijke ervaring is dit een uitgelezen moment voor de beginnende zeeaquariaan om hem vragen te stellen over de hobby. Maar ook de ervaren liefhebber weet Theo’s goede raad steeds te waarderen.
